Mammut Redburn Low Approach Shoe - Grey/Purple, UK4.5

Excellent, like new condition. Purchased because they were sold as US6. They are actually UK size 4.5, which is longer than US size 6. The narrow toe and softer rubber climbing zone makes these ideal for low grade climbing, scrambling, and Via Ferrata. The toe box width and low profile are similar to Salewa boots. (The boots, not the shoes. For some reason, Salewa shoes are very wide.) Soles are Mammut’s proprietary gripex APX “cougapproach” rubber. You can expect stealthy scrambles on loose and rocky terrain. Features Mammut’s patented ‘Base Fit’ lacing, which transfers power to your soles, prevents pressure points and keeps your feet from slipping in your shoe. The uppers are velour leather and textile, with sticky rubber patches on the heel. It’s a tragedy that this shoe does not fit me. Newer Mammut shoes are made with molded, inflexible plastic; instead of leather and other breathable textiles.
