The ordinary clutch has some strong competition in this Marc Jacobs Fergie Envelope Clutch. The rebellious designer takes a traditional clutch, messes with the shape, injects it with blinding color, studs it and adds plenty of glossy shine for a clever take on the look. Measuring 8″ by 12″, this unusual handbag isn’t really the definition of practicality, but it does stand up to the task when the objective is to stand out or just add some edge to a simple, chic look. Unfold the flap and slip it underneath an arm, or fold it down and grasp it like a basic clutch. Either way, it’s an effortlessly cool bag.
