@therealchichi to be honest I just tried one on and I wear a 39 and I am an 8. I just tried them on and actually only a bit big.. not a 10. They were my mom’s. She might have worn them once but the look perfect. A 40 is really a 9. I can take a pic of my foot in it if you would like to see
