Mark Cross is a luxury, American heritage brand. This is a very high quality purse made in Italy. Cream pebbled leather with smooth grain accents. Gold-toned buckle hardware. Inside is a single zip pocket lined in beautiful tan-colored leather. Strap drop is approx. 18" to 19" depending on where it is buckled. If you are petite, it could work as a crossbody. The only indication of any use is the tiny wear where the straps join the body. See the last two photographs. You can see how minimal this is.
