South African-born American designer David Eisen was renowned for his finely tailored, and detailed womens bridgewear designs in the '80s and '90s. Before exiting the fashion world to pursue his art as a sculptor, and to focus on industrial design, his ready-to-wear collections sold for 18 years in more than 800 upscale retail stores in 18 countries including Bergdorf Goodman, Barney's New York, and Macy's. This rare vintage Mark Eisen fully lined two-piece wool suit features a jacket with shoulder pads, one-button closure and fixed buttons at cuffs, and two shallow front pockets; and a skirt with hidden back zipper and hook-and-eye closure, and center back vent. New with tags ("never worn"). In excellent condition.
