Handmade Marmie Little Women Civil War Era Spring Summer Dress, Size 24 (Bust 46 & Waist 39) Made from a Simplicity Premium on Demand Pattern, #4900. Two piece dress — 1 dress with 1 detachable bow belt. Bodice is white cotton muslin with poly lace ribbon & trim. Skirt is cotton calico. Bow belt is cotton. Back Zip closures for bodice & skirt with hook and eye waist. Buttons at cuffs. Bow belt closes with hook and eye. Looks best with a hoop skirt, crinoline and/or petticoat (not included). Dress is shown with a crinoline underneath (not included). There are several extra inches in the hand sewn hem that can be let out to provide additional length if needed. This is a beautiful piece for historical re-enactments or theatre productions like Little Women, Anne of Green Gables and The King and I. Our Marmie wore it for Meg’s wedding in our production of Little Women.
