Rhinestones are faceted glass Cute texture design on the back like flowers or starbursts Marquis pointed almond shape Small but they wiggle a little when worn so the sparkle really shows without competing with other jewelry Stainless steel 1" hoop wires close in the back so they don't require separate backs. Better quality than most earrings come with. If you prefer regular hook ear wires, I can customize these for you at no charge. Most of my other earrings are dangle types like these that can be upgraded to solid Sterling Silver or 14k Gold filled wires so if you have sensitive ears like me, check my other items for that type. I have a background in NYC jewelry design and buy ear wires from a legitimate metal source jewelry supplies company. I can only wear stainless steel, Gold or real 925 Sterling, or else I get a rash.
