Made in Greece. Worn lightly by my mom in the 60s. I had new soles put on and had them polished. They are elegantly stunning. Gorgeous blue color. It says size 9, but I’m 8-8.5 and they are not to big. Would love them to find a new owner that would appreciate their cool chic!

bigc33 @jodieleh oh my goodness, 2.1" is very narrow. Do you have narrow feet? I wear an 8 regular.

jodieleh @bigc33 oops, my bad. I’ve never measured shoes before.. it’s more like 3 inches. Not sure how I got that. I’m about 8.5 depending on the shoe. My feet I think are normal to narrow.

jodieleh But I wear regular shoes. I like space and comfort, more of a Birkenstock’s and Clark’s kinda gal. That’s why I can’t wear these even though I adore them.

jodieleh @bigc33 not a pain at all, I also have a hard time getting shoes online. They do fit me snugly. Not roomy at all, and for me there was not enough “squishy” padding under the foot pad. My feet are spoiled and sensitive for them, otherwise I’d keep them for myself.

neilacts @ jodieleh Thanks for considering my offer. These are great, funky shoes! Unfortunately $60 is a little too much for me to take a chance on shoes that are 60 years old and may never be able to be worn more than once or twice.

jodieleh @neilacts Hi, My apologies for the late response. I totally hear you and would likely feel the same... if you are local, you are welcome to come check them out in person, so you either feel more confident about them, or realized that they are not right for you. I spent $40 putting new soles on them and having them polished, so $60 is the lowest I can go. I'd rather keep them than sell them for less. They are from the late 60s btw, so more like 50 years old.

neilacts @jodieleh No worries! I don't blame you for wanting to hold on to them -- the shoes are funky & fantastic. But, not unlike these shoes, as a 50 year old "antique" myself, sometimes even a little polish can't hide the fact that something that's half-a-century old doesn't have the wear I wish I still had ! :-) I am not local -- I'm on the east coast; you're on the west -- otherwise I'd take you up on your lovely offer to check these out in person. jodieleh Hi Neil, thanks for reaching out again, made me realized that most of the stuff in my poshmark closet has already been sold or gifted to friends and I never deleted them from here... I'm still not ready to get rid of the shoes for less. Sorry. And I'll be honest, though they are in amazing condition, they are NOT comfortable for wearing. If they were, I'd be keeping them for myself. They are really more for someone who'd want them for a photo shoot, or some kind of retro decor.
