Dupioni's sheen is more dull than other silk fabrics, and you will be able to observe different shades on the fabric through different angles of light. Dupioni is 20 - 28 momme and considered a medium weight silk fabric. But this skirt is actually heavier because of how much fabric was used . Dupioni is a very crisp type of silk that does not wrinkle easily and carries a slightly grainy texture to touch and sight which is in contrast to the typical smooth and seamless feel that many silks provide.
