Marsala is a Columbus, Ohio based jewelry manufacturer that has been in business since 1987. They manufacture both costume and fine jewelry. The mark with the tail on the “M” was in use apparently until 2009. In 2009, the “M” and the “C” are clearly separated. Presumably, the mark stands for Marsala Company or Marsala Columbus. Many mistake the hallmark as CW so they can be hard to identify, but really if you turn it around it’s an M with a backwards “C”.
