Marshall Field & Company Vintage “The Mansfield” Men’s Overcoat. Beautiful, black and dark charcoal herringbone tweed wool. Fully lined. Approximately 1 to 2 inches of loose seam at right under arm (please see photo), otherwise lining is intact. Size is a 40 short. Measurements as follows: sleeve measures 16 inches from under arm to cuff, sleeve measures 24.25 inches from the top of the shoulder seam to the hem, measured along the outside from top of shoulder to buttons at cuff. length is 39 inches from back of neck to hem, measured along back seam. Chest measures 20 inches across lying flat, buttoned. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam measured lying flat is 18 inches. Measurement at what visually appears to be the waist of the coat, approximately 3 inches above the pockets measures 21-22 inches measurement taken lying flat. Split back vent, three button front, front flap pockets. This coat is beautifully tailored and an amazing condition. Size 40 short
