Marshmallowy white, cotton-poly blend w/ crochet details, bell sleeves, blouse. Genuine Y2K blouse, bought in a small boutique in Manhattan's East Village in 2001. Simply adorable, with details that make it special. Two different crochet pattern bands adorn the neck, waist, and bottom trim. Bell sleeves with additional crocheted bands at middle-top, middle, and along the cuff. Overall fabric is a gauzy with white on white stripe -- its see-through, yet I wound't call it "sheer". I wore with a white cami, but I can see it working with skin-tone bra as well. Size is marked Large, but it's a smaller large. I'd say 8 - 10. The main fabric of the shirt has some stretch, but the crochet does not. Works well for Spring and Summer. Perfect with jeans, shorts, seersucker, linen. Excellent addition for any wardrobe. Will fit right in your cottage core, vintage, and contemporary closets So versatile. Style for day or night or day into night. Everyone needs a perfect white shirt for evenings after a day at the beach -- this is it! Worn a handful of times and then stored in the back my closet. Excellent condition with no tears, strains, or pulls. There is a tiny bit of yellowing in the crocheting near the back of the neck, but it's hardly noticeable. I tried to photograph, but it's not showing up in pictures, it's too faint. I haven't tried to spot treat. Still a lot of wear in this one.
