Antique sterling silver 2pc fish serving set by Martin Hall & Co of Sheffield, England, circa 1862. No monogram. Beautifully ornate fish serving set including a fork and a serving knife/spatula. Both pieces feature beaded edge, polished finish handles. Intricate chased and open-work/pierced tines and blade. Knife measures approx 13 1/4" long, 2 1/2" wide across blade, fork measures approx 10" long, 2 3/8" wide across tines. Weighs approx 350.4g, 225.3dwt total Fully hallmarked on both pieces with crown (Sheffield hallmark) u (1862 date mark) lion (sterling) Kings head (duty mark) MH&CO (Martin Hall & Co maker's mark) Very nice condition, with some light scratches and slight tarnish.
