RARE Vintage Martin Stove and Range #7 Hamburger Logo Cast Iron Skillet
1920s-1930s
Sits flat, with no wobble. Please note two spots with imperfections. First, the small pit on the bottom of the logo. Second, one spot on the rim has an area where the casting is a bit thinner, less than a cm. I’ve marked in the photos circled in purple. Minor flaws are to be expected as this skillet is roughly a hundred years old. However, I’ve discounted the price to account for the mark on the logo.
The skillet has been restored and seasoned with three coats of Crisco. Any splotchiness in the photos is from the bubble wrap I used to store it safely. I will add another layer of oil upon purchase to ensure it’s nice and glossy and properly seasoned. Any discolorations will be evened out with use.
Measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep.

Martin Stove & Range Co was founded by two brothers who had previously worked for the King Hardware Co of Atlanta, Georgia.
The brothers convinced King Hardware to purchase the Loman Stove Works Co in Sheffield, Alabama in 1905. The foundry name was changed to King Stove and Range and the Martin brothers managed the Foundry until 1917, when they purchased the Foundry.
The same year, they purchased Florence Stove Foundry and changed the name to Martin Stove & Range.
The company produced cast iron cookware until they discontinued manufacturing cookware in 1953.
