Stephen J. Sotnick as an undergraduate won a 1st Prize in the Sate Sculpture Contest- awarded to him by Oliver Andrews, UCLA head of Sculpture, and Barbara Haskell a Senior Curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art in NYC.
