Mary Quant for JC Penneys 3 piece set

What a rare find! This is a 3 piece mod hot pants set by Mary Quant for JC Penneys. Most people think Halston was the first major brand to partner with Penneys but nope Mary did it at least 3 times, starting in 1966 and the last I found was 1972. Based on the hot pants (inseam is 10 from button to crotch) I'm betting 1969/1970. The tags are intact tho a bit frayed. The three pieces have all their closures and no noticeable flaws. It seems to be cotton and I dont think I steamed it enough. Its quite lovely. Waist is 15 flat, so 30 full. The shirt piece is 28 inches on the back from neck to bottom. The inner shirt piece is 24 inches back to bottom. I have crossposted this on some other selling sites so once its gone its gone.
