sherrybabywv2 @hazabeth83 Bra pads were added but no other alterations as far as I know. I've never worn it, only fell in love with it when I tried it on. I can add more photos. Given the style of this gown, I don't believe a bustle would be possible. but I could be wrong!

sherrybabywv2 I spoke to my daughter in law who has sold wedding gowns for over thirty years and she said the gown could certainly be bustled. Shows what I know! I was basing my opinion on the lace design of the train. Now looking at it w fresh eyes and knowledge from her, I can now understand how a bustle could be made. Let me know if you are interested. I spoke to my daughter in law who has sold wedding gowns for over thirty years and she said the gown could certainly be bustled. Shows what I know! sherrybabywv2 @lshymbaugh I'm sorry it took me so long. The bust measures 42" and the waist 38". I would say as a size 20 it's equivalent to a size 16 in street clothing. It was a touch too big on me but I ended up going with a more casual style dress so it's just been adorning my closet. 💕Would have only needed minor alterations to be a perfect fit for my size 16 body. It's never been altered, only had bra pads sewn in by the original owner. It's such a special gown!
