Masami 18" Mother of Pearl Shell Necklace with 14K Gold Clasp

This stunning necklace is made from natural mother of pearl shells that have been harvested from the South Sea. These shells have then been shaped, polished and colored by skilled artisans into approximately thirty lustrous beads that have been strung and hand knotted along the entire necklace in alternating colors of white and coral. Each bead is approximately 12 millimeters in diameter. The necklace is approximately 18 inches in length and includes a solid 14K gold clasp. The clasp is stamped with the numbers 585 which is used internationally as a stamp for 14k gold. The number represents the gold purity percentage of 14K gold relative to pure 24K gold (i.e. 14÷24 which equals 58.5%). The necklace will also come in a velvet Masami gift bag.
