Matisse Copper Enamel Turquoise Blue & White Cuff Bracelet “Tapestry” c1950’s

Offered from my personal collection of Matisse Renoir is a beautiful Matisse Mid-Century wide copper and enamel cuff bracelet and matching earrings dating to the 1950’s. It is constructed with copper screening and overlaid with rectangular hand painted enamel plaques stitched to the screening with visible copper rivets. The colors are white and light seafoam green with tiny white speckles. It’s in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the enamel only some very light surface scratches on the copper due to its age and gentle use. A wonderful book piece featured in Copper the Art Jewelry: A Different Luster (page 118) this bracelet would make a great addition to any woman’s vintage bracelet collection. Bracelet measures 1 ¾” wide with a 1 ¼” gap and is signed Matisse. Clip-on earrings measure 1-1/2 inches tall by 5/8th of an inch at the widest. The set is in very good condition.
