Matisse Green and Black "Teardrop" Necklace and Dangling Screw-back Earrings

The necklace consists of seventeen luscious flat-topped oval enameled pieces link together with a triple teardrop bracket. "Matisse" is scripted on the clasp of the necklace. Unsigned, screw-back earrings mimic the features of the set. The applied plaque with script “Matisse” on the necklace indicates the set was produced before 1954. Necklace measures 16 inches including extension chain. The enameled links are 1 inch long. Screw-back dangling earrings measure 1-3/4th inches long by 1/4th of an inch wide. The set is in very good condition.
