Handmade by etching the flower in reverse and then painting each petal of the flower, stem and leaves. You can use this sculpture as a paperweight, but I would recommend just gazing and daydreaming... Mats Jonasson did not have to look long to discover his passion. His father worked in glass blowing and Mats was fascinated with the process. At the young age of 15, Mats with his talents for drawing took a position as an apprentice engraver. Maleras glassworks was founded in Sweden in 1924. In 1981, after several mergers and acquisitions, Maleras employees purchased and operated the company.
