Mayfield Parrish Bookplate - Arabian Nights - 1924

Based on label on back of this framed piece this is an antique book plate illustration that was framed for its art value for potential future sale from an antique book. The print illustrator is Mayfield Parrish and it is from the book "Arabian Nights" by Orton Lowe. The picture is hard to describe but has a figure on a mountain, but I have to assume that a detailed illustration is depicting a major scene of the book. This was part of an auction lot with hundreds of vintage and antique advertisements, book plate illustrations, and Art gallery book prints. The frame looks handmade and as I go through some of these one's that are in poly bags I am finding receipts from the guy that would make frames for them. Size: Frame 5.75 x 7 Condition: Good used - frame is missing paint but has a unique patina.
