Me Song Millinery hat Aretha Franklin wore for obamas inauguration

This is the famous hat originally designed by Mr. Song Millinery's designer, Luke Song, for Ms. Franklin for the Inauguration of President Obama in January of 2009. Two hats were made for the Inauguration ceremony. One hat resides at the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH and the other one, worn by Ms. Franklin, was inducted to the Smithsonian. This featured hat embodies a year-round version and is of a similar dimension and pattern we created for the original hat. It is a very durable and light weight material. The hat comes with a self adjustable sizing. Head size is approximately 22 5/6 - 23 1/4 inches (58 - 59 cm) and has an inner elastic drawstring to enhance the fit. Designer's unique, flexible all-season material that is crush and stain resistant. Note: metallic fabrics (i.e. gold, silver) are stiffer due to metallic threading weaved in.
