Medal 1973 American Revolution Bicentennial

This 1973 American Revolution Bicentennial medal is sealed in its original envelope. The text on the envelope reads 'Bicentennial First Day Cover '73' on the front, and of course has Boston Tea Party postage stamps. The envelope back says '1973 Bicentennial Commemorative Medal.' Notice the envelope has some surface damage from storage. Please refer to the photos with the rulers for sizing. The medal itself depicts the busts of Sam Adams and Patrick Henry. The other side shows a person on horseback accepting a letter; this refers to uniting people through correspondence.
