Sweetie I listed in the listings of the jacket what it's made of but I can tell you here also Both the outer shell and a lining is a 100% polyester\ machine washable and yes I would consider the jacket to be very silky

Also I want to let you know that I don't have a printer here at my house that works I have to go to the public library to print out your mailing label I will go tomorrow to print out your label and I should have the package mailed out to U Friday night or Saturday morning
