I have lived here all my life (except college)- you get the best of all worlds- hustle and bustle of city life- 30 minutes away is the straight up country, 3 hours one way is the beach and 3 hours the other way is the mountains!

poshliketheboss @floridamom04 when I started off, I focused mainly on brands but I found I was buying a lot of stuff that I didn’t really even like because of the brand name. Now I don’t even look at the brand first anymore, I look at if I think it’s cute and if my followers would think it’s cute and if so I buy it. If you look at the Wholesale market, it is a ton of brands nobody knows.

poshliketheboss @missjen17 you are SO welcome!! I have tried Snapseed, Photoshop, Lightroom, all of them and I like Background Eraser the best! If you take your photos against a solid background, you can use the “Color” feature and erase the background in one or two clicks! I am all about being efficient!

I spend the majority of my time making sure my cover shots are perfection and doing my pricing research. Those are the two most important things to get right to make sales.

poshliketheboss @shantia1980 Once your photos and prices are right, then you want to make sure people are actually finding your listings- you will want to make sure your Titles and Descriptions are optimized to come up in search results , not just on Posh but on Google also! White backgrounds are prioritized by google so I recommend a solid white background so your listings come up first if someone googles your brands.

harbourwind Hi Val Thanks for the follow. Impressive web site and course that "everyone" serious about selling online should sign up for. I started selling on eBay in 1995 (yes 1995 3 months after it launched). And back in the dark ages it would have been amazing to have someone teach you all of the pitfalls of online selling. One source of truth, so to speak. Thought someone out there would find it useful! I am always open for feedback- I need all the help I can get! I want to transition to full time resale but just haven’t found the stability to make the leap yet. Do you do this full time?

harbourwind @poshliketheboss Hi Val I do not do this full time but I do teach in another area and I am about to ramp up in September. I love retail and always have. One thing to look at for your training course would be to use something like "Podia" to create it and sell it. You are 100% right about you tube. It is hard for many to follow. There are many formats out there now to launch and create a profitable course

poshliketheboss @time_warpdrobe hi!!! So glad you found it helpful! To answer your question, it’s actually better that your first 10 words and your last 10 words vary slightly but contain the same keywords, so try to just move them around in order a little bit.

jetamije We sold our house that we lived in for 30 years and it was almost 3,000 sq. ft. and we have moved into an apartment that is attached to our son’s house over his house and it’s only 745 sq.ft. Needless to say we don’t have any place to put everything that my wife decided she didn’t think she would make much on in the estate sale before we moved so she brought it all here. We have been married for 43 years and she is a shopaholic but rarely a sale-a-Holic if there is such a word.

jetamije If you are not interested that is fine but I am trying to find a solution to getting our apartment to the point that we could actually have more than one visitor at a time and I might even be able to walk around to the other side of our bed. It not as bad as on Hoarders because it’s not trash but it is definitely closing in fast even though she isn’t buying anything else she just keeps bringing more and more from the bedroom to the living room

I actually don’t put too much credence into host picks, to be honest 🥴 this is just my personal experience but every time I have gotten a host pick, the item ends up sitting longer than anything else in my closet! It’s like a curse or something LOL! So I actually don’t even advertise it anymore.
