Hello everyone! My name is Christina and I am 25 years old and a graduate from the University of South Carolina! I used to play volleyball there but hurt my back, so now I have become an avid Crossfitter! Awesomeness! I have been doing Crossfit for almost 4 months along with the Paleo diet and I've lost nearly 50 pounds. I am super excited to be able to do things now that I couldn't before. (Started at 359lbs) I have also gone from a size 4x to a size 2x. Crossfit is wonderful! I can't imagine life without both the friendships and the happiness I get from each wod. I live in Chapin, SC. @steffcia that's so awesome!!!! Congrats on the accomplishment!!! I'm on the other end of the spectrum, tying to gain weight. I used to be on the volleyball team here at USC but after I finished I lost so much weight from not doing the intense workouts, so I joined CrossFit not only to get in better shape, but like you said, to build friendships that you can't get anywhere else other than CrossFit :) good luck in your journey!!!! Maybe I'll come to chapin one day and wod with you! 😄

I go to Crossfit bomb island right off of I-26 (turn right off exit 91 go a mile and you'll see a jeep out front!) you have an open invitation my friend! I usually go at 9:30 every morning and 7am on Saturdays. But occasionally that varies. Let me know if you want to come and I'll set it up. Would love to meet you!😋
