I just found out your mom was Portuguese!. I was born in Stockton, Ca on a dairy farm. My mom and dad child sweethearts born in U.S. but dad went back to Terceira, Azores when he was 9. Dad is 86, mom 84.

My grandmother was born River Falls, Mass. Came to Patterson, Ca in 1920 . My great grandfather was well known entrepreneur helping people during the dust bowl. Giving.them jobs and credit the family owned store, gas station and bar

@zil221 Nice to meet you and I love your pillows! You need to list more of them. Do you make them? If so, you have a career there! The flower pillow is Betsy all the way! I've been Poshing since January off and on and it sure takes up a lot of time. I don't sell too much but I'm still trying. Nice to know you're a Cali girl too!

@bimmy123 YesI do make the pillows. I gather vintage linens and new fabric with vintage lace and buttons. I have thousands of buttons. I also like the 50s, 60s floral costume jewelry pins. I have large collection of other vintage pins. Love to look for signed pieces. Are you famiar with Laurel Burch? Looking for her jewelry. Artist from the 70s that created jewelry on the streets of San Francisco because she was on welfare with kids.

Laurel Burch items were featured in Macys in 1980s. Whimsical, cats, birds were her theme. Died couple years of ago of rare disease. Very well known!
