kg218 @nugget_love I should send you to my blog! Lol. It's funny you ask because just last night my 11 year old came to me communicating with my great aunt Adelia! (And his hamster, Hammy!) As for me, I'm going to say no, because I never realized what it was. I always had "imaginary" friends and then just a few years back found out that apparently adults don't have imaginary friends! Lol! I've always remembered things from heaven but never pieced anything together. I always had guides but never realized they were my guides until my 20s. I did know I was weird. I didn't try to repress it but I kept almost two lives. One where my friends and family had no clue, the other I organized a group of over 350 "weird" people like me. Just recently I began coming out of the closet. More like my two lives were merging, as I accepted just being who I am the more I opened up psychically. So, no, I don't think I have been a medium my entire life but also yes, looking back I understand it's always been my path. Almost like a crescendo. Right now I teach classes locally to help others open because I've always been to shy to do readings so I love guiding people on making their own connections. :) it's pretty great. :)

nugget_love I think it's awesome!! Prob pretty scary, but awesome. You should do readings some day. I'm sure you could bring a lot of healing to people. I wish I had that gift. I don't. I lost my Mom and daughter within a year and a half a few years back. I always wish I could even see signs of them being around. Maybe cliche, but I am TOTALLY obsessed with The Long Island Medium. kg218 @nugget_love I'm sorry to hear of your losses. You CAN communicate with them! You probably already are! Here is one thing you can try tonight. When you are about to go to sleep tonight sit in your bed and meditate for a few minutes. If your mind is busy don't rush it, allow your mind to work through some of the business, once it begins to settle begin picturing yourself walking along a path. Walking for awhile feeling the warm bright light of God surrounding you, breathe it in. Continue down the path until you come up to a white gazebo. Inside the gazebo you look out over a beautiful large pond. While observing the pond you feel a familiar presence around you, turn to your side, who do you see? If you see someone (even if you need to first "pretend" they are there) then go ahead and speak to them. Your first few times you may not hear words but simply bathe in the joy, light and love of the reunion. Know this is real. (Even if you feel you're making it up) this opens the gateway for authentic communication with loved ones. You can do this as often as you'd like. If you aren't able to connect, it's okay, half is trusting in yourself. This is why I say it's okay to "pretend" you are meeting them. People tend to easily dismiss when loved ones visit because they feel they need a gift or a medium to connect for them. This is untrue. Everyone has the ability to connect with loved ones. It is more difficult to connect with people you do not know, that is when a medium is helpful. Everyone can connect with loved ones because your vibrational energy matches those you knew/had a relationship with in life. So you can easily "tune in" to their energy. Another thing that can be helpful is requesting proof they are indeed communicating. Asking for a sign can be setting yourself up for disappointment because it is tough for those on the other side to "deliver" your request. BUT if you ask them "I need confirmation this is real communication, I would like a sign delivered within the next week or two, what will the sign be?" Whatever image that pops into your head no matter how random it may be, accept it. If you aren't understanding then ask them to clarify. I was once told "blue feather" then "green feather" do I asked well which is it? Blue or green?? I was then told "blue green" within a day I found a blue green craft feather under a box in my basement. That was my confirmation. See how it works? Allow them to choose the sign, give them a timeline to deliver, no matter how small it may seem, say thank you and trust they'll deliver. And when they do, don't dismiss it no matter how small, coincidental it may be. Good luck! Let me know what happens! :)

We always have the right to invite our spirit family and angels in, as well as "kick" any unwanted spirit energy out of our personal spaces. It's a good practice to always invite angels and loved ones into our home and work and ask to keep the strangers out. If you can feel that subtle energy around you, congrats! You must be a very perceptive person, usually with that sensitivity it's a good idea to always keep angels around you to keep you shielded from physical people's negativity. Energy is energy! :)
