asanchez2378 @creativethrifts yes. Just curious about where you got the leggings I purchased? They just have a chemical smell that none of the leggings from the same brand that I’ve purchased have had. Thank you for getting back to me.

creativethrifts @asanchez2378 No problem! I got them from a wholesale lot.I live in Houston Texas and I’m pretty sure other resellers in certain parts of Texas got a bunch of these leggings too.Most likely I received these because of the discontinued triangle panel which has been switched to an oval. I’m really sorry about the smell. Other buyers haven’t noticed this or complained to me about it. Smell could be because of a lot of factors. creativethrifts @asanchez2378 Hi, I did purchase these through a wholesale bulk deal. I never implied I bought them directly through alphalete wholesale in my message. I am not sure if you are trying to insinuate if these are inauthentic. I would never sell anything like that. I am sorry that you thought these smell different than your other pairs. Alphalete has changed material and different specifics of their leggings through their releases as well. I’m just not sure what you are trying to get at.

asanchez2378 @creativethrifts I’m not trying to offend you but I’m just trying to make sure what I put on my body is safe. I’ve bought leggings from many brands and none have ever had a chemical smell. Also per the label it is the same material as the other pairs I have but it feels different and I would assume if they were both New they should feel the same.

creativethrifts @asanchez2378 Hi, I’m not offended and am glad we are having this discussion. Im not trying to make excuses for why they feel and smell differently but I feel that too many factors come into play here. Alphalete used to use a silicone wash on their leggings and now they do not as per their website. This could affect the feel of the leggings itself as they themselves explain on their website too

creativethrifts @asanchez2378 . Also, smell is very subjective. Buying from a person and a company are two different things and smell can be different. Again,I am not trying to make any excuses as to why they smell or feel different to you but I am just trying to explain this as best as I can. Are you saying you have the same leggings that are new from the same release of when these exact ones came out and you are comparing their feel? I’m not trying to be rude but I am just trying to understand.

asanchez2378 @creativethrifts yes since I’ve gotten 2 pair from them at different times but they both were the same fabric wise and I’m sorry there’s nothing “subjective” about this smell. Leggings should not have chemical smell as soon as you open the package and I’ve let them sit out to air out and I’ve finally tried them on and the same thing. Strong smell.
