mmkelley409 You are doing all the right things. It really just takes time. Most people see an increase in sales once they have 250 - 300 listings so try to list new items everyday. It’s important to follow people so they will follow you back. That helps your items to be seen by more people. And keep on sharing. Share other people’s items and most importantly share your own.

mmkelley409 To share your own closet - click on edit, next, list or just click on the share button then click on my followers. Sharing your own items puts them at the top of the search list. So if someone is looking for a Kate Spade bag, when they search for it, your Kate Spade will be near the top of the list of Kate Spade bags. Hope that makes sense - let me know if you have any other questions. 😊

mmkelley409 Sorry - You have to click on the picture of your item first. Then on the top right hand side of the screen, click on edit, next, list. Share your items at least 3 times a day.

mmkelley409 For shipping, you can get free boxes from the post office. They have to be priority mail boxes for them to be free. They come in lots of different sizes. I usually pick up a few every time I go to the post office so I have them when I need them. You can also order them from the post office website and they will send them to your house for free.

alunamichaels @mmkelley409 I know the boxes are free -- but the shipping is more for priority mail -- tiny box is $7.90 to ship and then goes up from there . .. do you use priority box, but not priority shipping price? if so, how do you track package?

mmkelley409 Poshmark pays the $6.95 for shipping as long as the box weighs less than 5 pounds. If it’s over 5 pounds you have to pay for upgraded shipping. That’s never happened to me so I’m not sure how you do that. So really all you have to do is print the label that Poshmark sends you through email and tape it to the outside of your package will clear packing tape.

mmkelley409 Actually I guess the buyer pays the shipping fee not Poshmark. If you offer your buyer a shipping discount, that money comes from your profit of the item. Poshmark will let you know exactly how much you will make after they take their 20% and discounted shipping fees that you gave the buyer.

mmkelley409 First click on your username in the bottom right hand side of your phone. Next click on seller’s tools. Then click on my seller discount. You can then choose what your discount will be (10%, 20%, etc) for how many items bought (1, 2, 3, etc).

mmkelley409 Now I’m not very tech savvy but if you want a sign in your closet saying what your discount is, I would 1) type up a sign on your computer and print it out. Then take a picture with your phone and then use that picture to make a new listing in your closet. I’m old school like that! Lol!

mmkelley409 Or if you see a sign on someone else ‘s closet, just send them a message and ask if you can use theirs. Then you would take a picture of it on your phone and use it to make your own sign. Everyone on Poshmark is so nice - I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if you used theirs. Hope this makes sense. 😊
