sraesturgeon Hey girl! I’m a total stalker, kidding. I’ve been eyeing those Venus bras in autumns closet. I noticed you commented on the plum horizons. I can check the measurements of the ones I have at home. I had no idea you didn’t know what size you’d be and now you have ones from me that don’t fit well 😞 I feel like the vintage fires are the “largest” of the XS/S. Let me know if you want some help!

betsyhuler @sraesturgeon don’t feel bad, I should maybe have asked for measurements! I am just not sure what size I need. They fit great everywhere but the waist. It is loose. And the high waist is a perk to keep your tummy tight, am I right?! 😄 So I guess I want to make sure that the xs/s is the same length as the m/l because I don’t want them to be too short. Are different varieties are different sizes?!? Thanks for helping me!

sraesturgeon I had the same issue with the sizing. Based on their size chart I was a M/L but they were too loose. Here’s what I think based on the last few months of having them. All have amazing compression. All of the TIU x Avo are a smidge bigger than the regular Avo. All measure about 12in at the very top and have about a 26 inseam. My horizons are a little over 26in. All have an 8ish in upper thigh.

sraesturgeon All have great stretch and all will stretch in length too and all have great compression at the top. Vintage fire - have the “least” compression, the softest, waistline loosens up Horizon/Air - soft, more structured, longest in inseam Fire - “most” compression, “least” amount of stretch and give, still soft Universal - seem to be the smallest The waistband does stretch out a little from when they’re new. Let me know if this makes sense!

betsyhuler Thanks @sraesturgeon - so looking what's on Poshmark in a color I'm looking for, I see 2 options. Autumn's plum horizons xs/s (I wouldn't have even known they were Horizons since it doesn't say) and another posher selling sky blue vintage fire leggings in xs/s. If I want a tighter waistline than the vintage fire leggings m/l that I purchased which would you suggest?

sraesturgeon @betsyhuler I think it’s hard to make a decision for someone else. I know I’m squeezing into my xs/s but I like that feeling in a Legging. I think it depends on the inch difference between what you have and what was mentioned. I would say the “safe” choice would be the vintage fires. I feel like the horizons are harder to find (sold out online & rarely on posh that I’ve seen) I think the quality is a little better and I don’t feel it’ll fall out of shape as easily as the vintage.

sraesturgeon @betsyhuler I did get a vintage pair new and got a pair of horizons on here “like new” there wasn’t a huge difference besides the vintages feeling a teeny tiny but roomier. Both seem like excellent options one may be a little safer than the other. Me personally I’m still trying to shape up a little more so squeezing now so they won’t be too big in a month is what I choose. The avo sizing is crazy and I have mixed feelings about it.

sraesturgeon I’m not sure if you’ve purchased anything yet but I’m leaning on posting a pair of black fire vintage wash when I get home. They have some use to them so the price point would be closer to 35ish for them. There’s a little pilling and some overall wear that you can tell they’re not like new.

lh1363 I am sorry you were not completely satisfied with your purchase...The kitten heels were in EUC and the photos were accurate...I am not the original owner and am a 9.5 so could never try on the shoes to know how they fit. They truly are vintage and I am disappointed that you ruined my rating as I am a very courteous Poshmarker...I would have gladly sent out as many photos as you asked for and I did ship expediently...Communication is a skill and I do not appreciate you grading the transaction...

betsyhuler @lh1363 I take rating a seller very seriously and have never not left a five star rating, I understand it is very beneficial to have good reviews. When I went on to discuss the issues I had it would not let me contact you, it kept sending me to the rate this purchase, I tried several times. I am not very versed in how to contact people on Poshmark and frankly wish it was easier. So I put my suggestions on the rating.

betsyhuler @lh1363 On eBay this happened once, I was able to send a message & the seller gave a partial refund for the difference in the listing verses the actual condition. Is this something that can be done on Poshmark? I understand that you would not be able to tell the size difference on the shoes. Your pictures were true but the tip of the toe is where most of the wear begins on a shoe like this.

My positive nature takes me to the notion that all is well since everyone posts items in the best possible light and then I see what I ordered and am disappointed with the actual product.
