@pandoras77 hey there a while back ago about a month ago when I joined poshmark you said if I had any questions feel free to ask. And I am having a dilemma. I ordered something from a buyer who never shipped the item so I cancelled the purchase and I never received my refund. I've been trying to get in touch with poshmark sending them multiple emails and they will not respond at all what do I do? Thank you for your help

@pandoras77 thank you so much for responding I would didn't know what else to do. When I placed my order the morning of June 16th I waited and even messaged the seller 5 days in to ask them if they were still going to ship the item and if it was a problem could they please just cancel the purchase. they responded and said they were so sorry it is summer and they are really busy LOL.

@pandoras77 so they never shipped it so the first thing Monday morning June 24th I was allowed to cancel the order so I did. It said the refund should have been put on my reusable balance on the poshmark account it wasn't. So I emailed poshmark and I haven't heard anything from them at all. I also sent them a email about that seller on Sunday and I never heard back from them on that either

@acstyles4less Yes, did you receive the proper emails from Poshmark stating that you had the right to cancel the order on the 9th day and so on? Also did you go through Poshmark to change your name?

@pandoras77 yes I did that was how I was able to cancel it they said that I was able to cancel it because it had taken too long for the seller to ship the item. And yes I went through poshmark to change my name as well it took about a week and a half to change it.

@pandoras77 speaking of the name change and going through poshmark. I ended up sending some emails about changing my name to poshmark the first two emails that I sent went unanswered so I sent a third which was answered about my name change. So the first two emails I sent they never even responded to those that's why I'm worried about these emails about my refund

@acstyles4less (sorry my phone was dying I had to plug it in) Hummmm.... well I had a similar situation with a seller and I waited till the last day and I canceled the order and received the email stating that I would have my funds returned to the original place, ie: debit card, Poshmark Balance etc.... and after about 2 days I emailed them and said “Can you just give me my money NOW PLEASE?!? This has went on for almost 2 months!!” —and bam I got it!!

@acstyles4less Are you still using the same email address as before you changed your name?
If you are I would email them and in no uncertain terms, tell them exactly what the situation is names, dates and canceled purchase number and tell them you want your money now. That’s the only thing I can think of to do.
But if you changed your email they may not be associating you w/ your old name hence the case and refund? So I’m really not 💯 sure.

@acstyles4less It’s really a difficult situation where I’m not sure of everything that’s occurred. I haven’t been able to keep up with you, because of the name change it looked like you had blocked me from my end.... I specifically remembered your name too, I actually thought it was catchy, lol but I’m glad you found me anyways not necessarily under these circumstances though....

Sunday morning June 16th I got a message of an offer from a seller of an item I liked for a hair dryer I accepted the offer and she never shipped it. I even gave her the opportunity to get out of the situation and cancel it for me and she would not

@pandoras77 to alert poshmark of the way the seller was handling the situation in her response to my request.and the reason for that is I don't think people like her should be able to sell on poshmark they give the rest of us a bad name. And they make scared of ordering due to this kind of situation.

@pandoras77 hey there how are you doing these days? I have a question ....on poshmark even if you take photos of say an item that has damage and in the description of the listing you also talked about the damage for example a bag I sold in the description that describes that it could possibly be cleaned but there are stains on the inside of the bag. can someone still give you a bad review for that even though you described it in the listing?

@acstyles4less They shouldn’t because you disclosed that in your description. So they were already aware of what the item was like when they purchased it. If they’re trying to open a case or give you a poor rating due to this I would contact them and explain the Posh Guidelines to them & if that doesn’t work you can email Poshmark. If it’s a rating issue Poshmark usually won’t do much of anything. But if it’s a case that will definitely go your way.

@pandoras77 well I'll opened up a dialogue with the lady just trying to figure out what her concerns were and I did ask her if she had read the description before purchasing and she didn't answer that question and I said you were upset about the packaging to what was that about. She said she was mad because it came in an Amazon box!!! I told her that it was the biggest box I could find so that I could stuff the bag for presentation purposes instead of just throwing the bag in a box

@acstyles4less She’s just looking for any reason in the world to complain!! I wouldn’t ever sell to her again, if I were you. If she doesn’t change her review then I’d just block her because she’s never gonna be happy. I’ve had a couple of people to do me that way and I took it VERY personally, I mean how can you not!! But if she’s gonna be like that I’d block her and never have anything to do with her again.... it’s a shame people like that exist!! I’m so sorry!!

@pandoras77 I know I said my piece to her which I would normally never do but this situation was different. I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. And I kept saying why would it matter if it came in an Amazon box? She's lucky I didn't send the purse in a croutons box. LOL my husband runs a restaurant and he has all kinds of boxes that I could have used LOL I did block her because I don't care even what she has to say

And my husband remembers the bag the day it went out he reminded me that I actually cleaned the bag on the inside with alcohol and got most of the stains out. So the picture on the listing actually looks worse than what she received. I made it look better. Yeah I did block her I don't ever want to do business with anybody like that again

@acstyles4less It’s ok, it takes FOREVER to get it back to a 5 too!! I know all because of 1 person, for me too!! It still bothers me!!
But I’m doing alright. Taking care of my parents on a daily basis. I’m just worried about my dad right now. He’s got more testing coming up, we went through this in February and it was a living hell I just pray this isn’t the same way!! 😔😔😔
