Casey, I’m very sorry that you had the experience you did. I value your feedback. I can assure you I did not spray any fragrance, and did not even use fabric softener. It must have been the detergent I used. I took the time to look up a few solutions online, and several articles referenced adding 1 cup vinegar to your washing machine with the dress.(1/2)

I have actually tried this method myself before, and it doesn’t leave a vinegar smell as I originally thought. That may help with the smell. Hope that helps you out! (2/2)
