cat4tuna @mountainmaster so I read up on selling on poshmark. Sharing your own items 5000 times is a milestone on becoming a posh ambassador. Also, it puts your listings at the top of recently shared items. Following people gets you about half. So if I follow 4k, I often get 2k followers. The more followers, the more exposure my shares get. There are follow games where they tell you to follow and share so many times per closet(user).

cat4tuna @mountainmaster Sharing other closet items is another milestone on becoming a PA. Im like 97 or 98% there. I need to share my items about 800 times, which is about 2-3 times a day for the next week. It is more time consuming than Ebay. Shipping is cheaper. You get sales by offering like 10% off to your likers. I offer 15-25% off on bundles. So you may need to raise your prices 10% -20% when you initially list an item on PM. Bc offers are the way to go apparently. I get 3-4 sales per week.

cat4tuna @mountainmaster The more I list new items, the more that attracts buyers to my closet. So having enough in your closet helps. Adding new items frequently really helps. So when I don't have enough inventory I'll find more. Following others and sharing their items usually gets them to share your items to their followers. One of my followers has over a million followers or followed.

cat4tuna @mountainmaster also the$7 shipping allows for 5lbs. It's $4 more for a bigger box or heavier weight up to a certain amount. You pay for the $4 more not the buyer. It certainly is cheaper to ship through poshmark on mid weight items.

cat4tuna @mountainmaster have you figured out how to bundle? It saves the buyer shipping and you only need one shipping label. Although weigh stuff to make sure it doesn't go over the 5lbs. Otherwise, you pay $4 more. I had to make an oversized box for the ugg boots. But it was worth it to me in the end.

sirenmay05 @cat4tuna you get paid once you sell an item and it gets shipped out. Plus your customer has to accept the item. If they do not accept it, you will see the item say pending acceptance, if three days pass and they still don’t accept the item, the payment gets processed and you’ll get it into your Poshmark account. Finally, if you want you can transfer it to your own bank account.

miar68 @cat4tuna oh, no worries sweetie! I think it's so wonderful u help animals. I live in the Phoenix Valley in Arizona, and animal abuse and over population of cats and dogs is really bad here. People don't spay/neuter their pets. So, thank you for ur efforts, seriously. I volunteer at different shelters in my area. Walk the doggies, play with the kitties. Clean up and feed. cat4tuna @miar68 in the late 90s, I lived in Chandler. So I'm somewhat familiar. I have two fabulous therapy cats that I walk and I dress up for Halloween. They love the free treats every year. They are the most interactive cats I've ever had. Dr Mew even does tricks. They are spayed/neutered. There's a low cost spay and save program here in the Portland Oregon area. So it makes it easy. I freely give kibble to my friends who need cat food. And wet if I have it.

Mine and a friend’s did too, and she saw a tip that deleting and reinstalling the app would reset something and increase your visibility. susana_w @cat4tuna Lots of buyers are browsing the brands or categories... which is specific... not looking at the “feed” which is everything. If I want a jacket I click on ‘shop’ then pick either a brand or a category. I scroll through all the jackets and visit closets of jackets I like. Doesn’t matter how long they’ve been waiting. I sold 3 things last week that I listed 2 years ago! You’re doing great. I’ll swap shares with you any time. 😘😘

susana_w Are you taking photos with your phone? Are you editing with the ‘EDit’ feature on your phone? You can lighten just the shadows or tweet a color to be closer to the items color. You just need to know where the tools are. Let’s talk!

cat4tuna @susana_w My phone has a few good/great editing apps, but they didn't work on that plum gown when it was overcast out. they don't work on shadows. it has trouble with purple shades. I'm not sure which to switch to. My phone takes pretty good photos already. If I filter them it changes the color too much.

I was accused of fat shaming potential buyers simply because on the items that fit me I made a reference listing that compared the item to my real life body measurements and list my peculiar hard to fit bra size. I find it so helpful. l love it when women comment to me that it helps them find clothes that fit them. isn't that the best of poshing?

cat4tuna @garfieldkae what an adorable doggo! bet he does tricks for food, too. my black cat does tricks. my tortie won't most of the time. fb keeps loading my profile pic for me. it seems easiest to indicate a cat friendly home. clothes are primarily kept away from them and I lint roll everything prior to shipping just in case.

cat4tuna @flutterfly22 I'd say be prepared. have a pair or two of tight pants and have some that fit. bc you know that if you don't have anything to wear you'll lose so much weight that you'll wish you had something just a bit smaller. I have 16s,18s, & I think 20s in pants & jeans to list. I'll see about getting those listed this week. 18/20 is my size, too. feel free to check my fitting guide listing to check measurements. it might help you find something that fits.
