It's a common scam attempted on new expensive items posted. You can do an internet search "Poshmark email check scam" and you'll see what I mean. Happy selling! 🙂

houndstooth @cscott02 I want to tell you how sorry I am that your Alabama straws haven’t arrived yet. I know you purchased on May 16 and I shipped the next day. According to tracking, USPS picked up and scanned your package on May 16. It appears that it sat at the Dallas post office until May 20 then sent to the next facility. I feel terrible about this significant shipping delay and have requested a detailed tracking from USPS. I will keep you posted as soon as I hear from USPS. ~Ellen~
