time2livelife TIP #1: Stay active in the app! The more active you are, the more people will follow you, the more people will see your listings, and the more sales you will make! Never spend more than 2 days without logging into the app if you can help it (emergencies and vacations aside). If it's a really busy day try to at least share 1 or 2 listings and respond to comments/offers/sales. Notifications can build up if you don't keep up with it.

time2livelife TIP #2: Engage in as many Posh parties as possible. This allows you to share your listings with people who are not following you. There are 3 posh parties a day. I try to do the 7-9 p.m. posh party every night while I eat dinner since this is the only posh party that allows you to share all of your listings; other posh parties have specific themes. Posh parties are also a great way to find affordable clothing you might have on your wishlist.

time2livelife TIP #3: FOLLOW AND SHARE! Under the newsfeed tab press the find people button in the upper left corner. Search fellow Poshers by size, brand, and/or location and follow them and share their listings😊 A lot of people follow and share back so this is a great way to stay active in the Poshmark community as well as promote yourself. Don't be one of those people that comments "follow me" or "check out my closet" though because that tends to annoy other users.

time2livelife TIP #4: Use a clean background for professional looking cover shots. I got a few white foam boards at the 99 cent store or the dollar tree so that I can have a clean white back ground. A clean wood floor works great too. This automatically makes your item look 10X prettier and will draw more attention.

time2livelife Don't be afraid to be creative or use props! If you can find a manufacturer picture for the cover shot that works too but make sure it's the real item and also include actual photos of your product underneath.

time2livelife Lighting is everything when taking pictures. Natural daylight works best. The brighter a picture is, the more likely it will catch the eye of potential buyers. People also love to see the item modeled if you have time for it. If you can find the exact item modeled online then that works great too but make sure it's the exact same item so you don't falsely advertise. Always have real pictures of the item lying flat if you use an online picture.

time2livelife TIP #5: Have a really clear description of your items. When people are searching for items, any words you use in your description will pop up. Also include measurements if you can (people almost always ask). Just make sure not to falsely represent the item so that the buyer does not dispute the order after receiving it.

time2livelife TIP #6: Beware of scams. Other users might try to convince you to sell to them on other apps but it's usually just a scam for them to get referral credit and it's against Poshmark policy to facilitate offline transactions. (Make sure to read up on Poshmark rules). Trades are allowed but I strongly encourage you not to trade items with anyone you don't know in person because there is no protection if that person does not send your item or misrepresents the item.

time2livelife TIP #7: Refer all of your friends to Poshmark with your referral code and get extra spending money when they make their first purchase! You guys can also help promote each other by sharing each other's items. It's good to have PFFs so you can help promote each other. I will gladly be one of your PFFs.

time2livelife TIP #8: Follow Spree! The more users you follow, the more followers you will get. Some people go on follow sprees and follow thousands of people at a time. They won't all follow back but a lot of them will. This helps your closet to grow really fast. When I go on follow sprees I search users by size so that my newsfeed won't be cluttered with items I could never buy.

time2livelife I also recommend customizing your push notifications because once your Poshmark gets bigger your phone will go off all day if you don't customize the notifications. I have mine set to notify me of posh parties, sales, and comments. But when I log in I also try to share back when people share my listings because it's posh etiquette.
