cbbarginbin @ny_and_nc I need some help on shipping ... I just sold & shipped my first item & IT LOOKS LIKE CRAP. The post office said the label I had wasn't correct to the package I had it in so they had me take it out & shove it in a cardboard flat rate envelope. And they told me if the item was in anything else it would require more shipping. Naturally I'm upset and now clueless as to what to ship in ... PLEASE HELP!!

ny_and_nc I've had that happen, and it isn't your fault. Message the buyer, and tell her. You aren't the only one having issues with USPS this week, Love. Me and one other woman on here that I know of have been having issues as well. Did you put a thank you note in the package? Did you use tissue paper? These are things to think about. Do not stress over something you can't change, I know this is causing you anxiety, I've felt it.

ny_and_nc @cbbarginbin I still feel it to this day lol... go to the dollar tree and get some cute tissue paper that you like, and some thank you cards. Don't spend a lot, it's not necessary. Message her and tell her you apologize, if she's had any sales she's probably also had issues with USPS. Don't stress. It is what it is, and it'll be okay!

ny_and_nc @cbbarginbin You can also buy your own boxes, or recycle the ones you've gotten in the mail, which is a great option and it's helping out with the environment. Let me know how it goes, okay?

cbbarginbin @ny_and_nc I did have it all cute & stuff but when it was being transferred, it all got destroyed. I am trying to figure out how to message the buyer and let them know the situation but I haven't figured that out yet 😵 ... Also, the post office told me that if I were to get a regular box and put it in there with the postage that it was that it would actually charge me more because it goes by the weight, so I don't know what to do.

ny_and_nc @cbbarginbin it does go by weight, they aren't lying. There are packages you can get from the PO that you can use, but some of the boxes, the right ones to use, you have to order online, which are free, and have them sent to your address. Your mailman can drop them off at your house. You downloaded the shipping label off Poshmark, right?

ny_and_nc @cbbarginbin As for the buyer, message him/her in the item listing they bought and simply say "hey, so & so, I mailed your package today, so it's otw to you! I apologize for the packing, I'm new to this and the USPS changed it while I was at to PO. I'm so sorry if you aren't please with the packing, I'm doing my best to make sure it doesn't happen again" or something like that.

cbbarginbin @ny_and_nc I need to figure out which boxes on USPS so that doesn't happen again. Yes I printed out my label & LUCKILY I was out of tape after sealing the box so it wasn't on there yet, or it would have been messed up too.

ny_and_nc @cbbarginbin I'm not sure on that, I've never ordered them, I've been told numerous times though, at the PO. Just sign up and check out the whole website. There's lots to learn... things you or I never knew about. I use my own boxes, or buy them from Wal-Mart.

ny_and_nc @cbbarginbin I think it's sent to the same a certain number of times, but I'm not 100% on that. I've learned to email Poshmark when ever I need a question answered. I've noticed that if I send an offer to 3 people who heart an item, sometimes it'll say offer sent to 1 liker. Little things you'll notice, too. Let me know what you find out, I'm curious too, now!

ny_and_nc @cbbarginbin you can create bundles for someone else. Only they can. But you can tag them if you're having a sale or if you offer a bundle sale price you can tag on your listing that says so and they can do it that way.
