My name is Christine & I live in rural Vermont. I've been Poshing for a couple years now & really love what I do. I love shopping & selling & all that goes with it. chrisrvt @designbyyilda Good morning. I'm certainly no expert, I'm still new at this. I just started a couple months ago. Maybe try getting more followers? They only people who see your stuff are the ones following you. So to get more exposure, get more followers. Sharing your stuff is more important than sharing mine. It's nice to share others, but that's helping them, not you. Self shares are more important. Don't take low offers. Great photos are important, too. Having items that people want to buy

I try to stay active on here & have a variety of items. I'm still learning. I want to edit my photos better & maybe model some of the clothes. I do not like the low ball offers. One lady put 145. of stuff in a bundle & offered me half! I'd rather keep my stuff than give it away!!

chrisrvt @redheadparadis If you use your phone, click on the photo. I'm not sure why it rotates the photos in the first place. Click on the photo. Below it there should be symbols. One should look like 3 lines = kinda. Click on it. Then 3 new symbols come up. One is (x) like that kinda. Click on it. It will then let you rotate it. Make sure u save the photo when done. Play with the other symbols to see what they do

To initiate a comment, just click on the icon under the listing ( the right one I believe) What you can do is play with it. Click on different thngs to see what they do. That's how I figured it out. It will only let you leave a 500 word comment

I have help with mine. I pay an assistant to help me. There's no way I could do it alone. I do it twice a day & some of my more liked items I try to share more.

chrisrvt @mkpbaker You have to offer a shipping discount. Or else you can't send the offer. It's just the rules. Go to Youtube & watch a video on how to sell on Poshmark. Or click on How to sell in FAQ's on Poshmark. There are rules that you should know as a seller. Do your research. I make sales everyday. But if I didnt know how, I wouldn't be making any sales.

dominoqueer1 That is the way some furry die hards are. Witness Figaro, my Maine Coon ( now in heaven or somewhere ). Handsome in his grayish coat with fur tufts poking from his ears, he slum lumbered on his tower. Every May I scheduled my a/C 👦 to start it up 4 Figaro. Like yours he wore that coat though his was THICKER. 🌈

chrisrvt @dominoqueer1 So Yesterday morning we found the remains of a mouse by the door. All day it smelled like cooked cabbage in here. We thought they were cooking downstairs. By nighttime we realized the smell was in the house, near the couch. We pulled the couch apart, sprayed it with lysol. I had my honey shower & change his socks. This morning I still smelled it every time I sat on the couch. I had an appt an hour away so we were gone all day. Tonight we pulled the couch out again & vacummed

chrisrvt @dominoqueer1 Finally we flipped the couch over, dead mouse under the couch! Wow that suck smelled horrible. It looked like it just died, on it's own. No blood or anything. Gross either way. At least it smells better in here. But... we took Snowbird down to our other property. He ate grass & then threw up in the backseat of the car! So that will be my morning project. What we do for our loved ones! :)

chrisrvt @dominoqueer1 Good morning. He really is like having a child. Last night when we went to sleep, he put his paw on my face. He sleeps with his head resting in my armpit, like I'm cradling a baby. I lie on my back with my left arm away from my body, creating a spot for him. He waits for me to go to bed & jumps up. He gets his face so close to mine, I can feel his whiskers tickling my face. I pet him for a couple mins. He loves his chin petted. As I was drifting off, he put his paw on my cheek.

chrisrvt @dominoqueer1 If he goes outside, he doesn't stay out very long. He does like to sit under the porch or in the wood shed. When it's really cold, he will still sit by the door, but when I open it, he sniffs the air & turns away. He does go out in the snow & rain. He knows how to stay dry. And he cries when he's ready to come in. He needs stimulation or else he gets bored. Lately he likes to knock down bottles of vitamins & bat them up & down the hall at 4 a.m. :)

chrisrvt @dominoqueer1 He will, give him time. I think Bird bites because he can't say No & he doesn't have hands. He usually just nips, to let you know he doesn't like something. I overlook it because he's exceptional in every other way. That's just part of who he is. That & me tripping over him, he's always under my feet. If I have to go down the hall & back, he has to go see what I'm doing. I've never had a cat that follows me every where I go.

chrisrvt @dominoqueer1 He has to be at least 7, I've had him almost 5 years & he belonged to my roommate for the 2 yrs I lived there, He was full grown & fixed when I moved in. I just found out that he passed away. Bird's original owner.His friend just called me yesterday. She said he died about a year ago. I hadn't heard. He was only 55 but he smoked & drank quite a bit. I'm forever grateful to him for taking Bird in. Bird was feral & bit him so bad he went to the hospital with an infection!

dominoqueer1 Before spinal stenosis During teaching days I had a pair of brothers, Max & Figaro. 2 years ago I had surgery; I believe one must be able to care for a PET... it is a responsibility. Over a Ilifetime my pets were ducks, turtles, goldfish Springer Spaniel/ Shepherd mix & a Russian Blue named Anya. Aren't they the best? Thanx 4 great tops & good conversation.

dominoqueer1 Dear Christine, Now I understand- toxins from unhealthy teeth/ gums throw Bird off kilter. To clean him up 100%= $$$. From Orphans of the Storm I adopted Anya, an older Russian Blue Bottom Line: previous owners abused her & ignored her diet. The dental extraction cost $$$. I was told the next year more work would cost $700. I chose to return her detailing her issues. Far too $$$$.

chrisrvt @dominoqueer1 I do not know, it hasn't arrived yet. Shipping issues. He thanks you for your card! It came today. We got a new car last week, our old one was a money pit. I'm not sure he likes it. This morning I took him to the Post office with me. He was in the back seat looking out the window & all of the sudden his window went all the way down! Scared me & him. Luckily he didn't jump out. We'll have to fix that. His paw must have pushed the button. He's been in it twice, no puking. :)

luneleanoreve @chrisrvt I'm so happy to hear that you made it through okay! I saw Wells River and thought, "Oh no, I hope the Connecticut didn't swallow up that poor town!". We made it through intact as well, but every single surrounding town, Montpelier, Berlin, Barre... Just devastated. This hasn't been any VT summer I recognize. I feel like we'll look back on it and remember events based on thunderstorms, flooding, and horrible air quality! 😣

chrisrvt @lunaeleanor8898 We have the Wells River that goes right through our back yard. But it held. We used to live down the road in Groton. They got it a bit worse than we did. We saw a story this morning about the man who died. The only death. In Barre. He was dealing with his flooded basement. Somehow he slipped, hit his head & fell head first into his flooded sub pump hole. Drowned upside down. What a horrible way to go. Not a great summer for sure. And half over already. But we are Vermont Strong!
