Hi! I'm Cindy, married for 34 years, mother of 3. We love to camp, fish and just be connected to our kids, physically and mentally. I enjoy hiking with my dogs, and riding. Im a full time office manager, for over 15 years, I'm fortunate I love my job. A friend introduced me to this site, I've always given my clothes away to United Gospel Mission or Good will, I will continue to do so, but there are some items, worth reselling. I volunteer at homeless shelter, which I love. So lets shop!!

cali_gal @cincinpierce HI! Great questions! So, if you're on a device, go to the top and click on 'edit profile", then 'edit header image' I think you can upload 2 different pics now, but I only have the one. LMK if you need more help with that.

cali_gal @cincinpierce Yes- direct deposit is great! Totally safe. In fact, I kind of trust poshmark over other larger systems. They have their own and keep tight reins on it. I always keep a balance in my account, though in case the 'need' to buy something hits me, lol 😂

Also is it more presentable if a put items with other clothing to show a whole outfit? Is it ok, the way I'm showing my items? Why do some show clothing that looks like its off of website, or store? Great questions for sure- first of all, read the faqs on the blog.poshmark.com also join one of the FB groups like 'poshmark seller tips' and the general poshmark group- lots of great info there! Some sellers use stock photos for their items. Personal preference, I like to do my own (lots of learning for me!) to make it more personal. (cont"d)

cali_gal @cincinpierce I take pictures outside if at all possible- or I use indoor with lots of natural light. I take in either square mode or regular depending on the item. Then i use picture collage (many apps out there!) to crop, adjust the lighting and color if needed. It's a lot of work but I'm trying to build this business so it's ok. (cont'd)

cali_gal Your pics would look even better with better lighting (gotta get creative- I may invest in a sun lamp for days when I can't do it outside) and editing apps. Make sure to measure your items and describe as accurately as possible - if I see an item but there are no measurements or fabric content I usually move on. (contd)

If you're on here to buy, then follow your size/style. if you're wanting to really sell, following many many many people- follow new people listed, follow closets you love, comment on closets you like. I wanted to ask you a question me still just getting my feet wet here at POSH. I've a belt retails $250 , it's like brand new. I've already brought the price down to $95 then today someone offers me $25. I came back and counter offered her $85 j should have probably not commented at all.....advice please💟💟💟💟💟💟TIa

serenity_style_ @tlmac60 hi, I looked at your belts, if you feel strongly that you have already brought the belt down to 90 or and it is worth close to 250. Don't settle for much less your offer is good. Technically posh says 40% of what we paid for it new, items that are preloved. So 100 is 40% of 250.00.

serenity_style_ @tanlegsintx Hi Jess, not for met you, once a buyer accepts, the money is deposited right away. Buyers have up to 3 days to accept, the item, if they do not accept then posh still releases the funds! If you have any more questions, let me know, I hope this helps..Cindy

cherie_lapin @cincinpierce I’m in Alabama. not sure on lic of boutiques, but my guess is yes bc of the amount of money they are making and bc they have large amts of wholesale orders that aren’t posh products. They can pay themselves for their time, some have employees and also can write off their wi-fi, shipping/packing materials etc. if you plan to go all in boutique, I would say bc of the time, and investment a license would be the right way to go. The cancer is in his bones, brain, lungs, liver, adrenal gland & hip which has eaten away at his hip bone and is about to break. I think we will all have better luck with getting a sell if the shares are spread out. I don't want to loose you from the group and I understand the time restaint you are on. summerchance @cincinpierce She's stoic won't ask 4 what she nds is almost totally blind & lives in deplorable situation remote unsafe without the most fundamental amenities she's ill from degenerative disease & was just taken off chemo meds yet she walks miles 2 get 2 bus then more miles 2 go 2 apts buy groceries get her mail or post PM pkgs! It worries me beyond belief she's spending another winter where she is but there are complications.

summerchance @cincinpierce My pup Chance is having 2nd major surgery soon has 2 be monitored 24/7 & carried 4 any move for 1st 4-5 wks so I can't physically help but if U spearhead something 4 Kristen I'll do more than my best 2 volunteer anything I can. If she had an advocate 2 make calls run interference 4 her it'd help the move I think. She's been in my prayers since day 1& I'm so grateful U've put her on a prayer list❤ Summer

First return, listing was a 3 for $15, buyer thought she was going to get 3 of same thing (for $8), Pm ruled description unclear, I sent them listing pics and asked how to correct..no reply. Second, buyer lied, I said it’s ok to refund (will never do that again), buyer sent item back too damaged to resell. Sent PM pics, no reply. That’s why I’m skeptical. 🌸💕🌸

They usually get back in a reasonable time. I'd try n resend them to see if they responded to you mention you have already sent in a claim.

wrforrest @cincinpierce I hear ya!! I had a 5 hour plus neck surgery 9 months ago!! My first was 30cyears ago. This one they went in took out all the cold hardware and put all new then f\sed from c2- c6 now. Had to wear that hard Aspen collar 3 months. That was very difficult., now I am better then new!
