Meet your Posher, Colleen

Bonjour! I'm Colleen and was born in Montreal, Québec Canada where I grew up with a French fashion influence. Montreal is a mecca of unique fashion. I remember shopping in the underground malls and how I gravitated to avant-garde fashion brands such as Le Château, Esprit, and Aldo. I always adored the big fashion houses such as Gucci and Chanel, but my budget didn’t match up with my ability to shop those expensive brands. Fashion to me is more than what you wear. Shopping was always special to me because it was quality time spent with my mom and my sister. Every time we went on vacation, it was so much fun checking out all of the exotic fashions. I always loved buying at least one dress from my vacation and I would name the dress after the country I visited. I have always connected to fashion since I was young, I have always felt that fashion is a statement of your vibe and an expression of who you are. My closet is a very eclectic vibe of sultry and seductive mixed with cozy and chic. I love shopping and styling my friends and I hope that everyone finds something in my closet that will make their fashion statement pop. I’ve always been told by my friends that I am overdressed. Fashion makes me feel fulfilled and complete. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I feel that everyone is now looking at my outfit instead of my arthritis. this is my favorite quote written by Oscar Wilde “You can never be too educated or too overdressed .” Happy poshing mes amies!
