wendimb You got your closet started. Congratulations! Now what do you do? I have lots of tips in my closet if you need a place to start. Here is an example: Tip - If someone asks you to take the transaction off of Poshmark (they want you to email them, call them, or go to another site), it's almost always a scam. Don't do it.

mkinsinger Welcome to Poshmark! I love buying items on Poshmark that I can’t find anywhere else. yellowstars001 I left a comment on the 9.5 boots I'm interested in buying. I usually wear a size 9 in shoes. Do the boots run small or would you say they are true to size? Waiting on measurements around the top of the boot in the arch or foot area where the boot curves in the front. I can buy as soon as tonight if measurements work Thanks. 😄

corriejames @yellowstars001 Hi! So sorry, I’m having a hard time getting exact measurement because I can’t find my seamstress tape, just a standard metal one. Best guess with that around the foot is 10.5”. Where the toe starts it’s is about 9.5”. There is some supporting material in the heel for a stiffer fit but the top instep is pliable. I wear a 9.5 but if half sizes aren’t available I typically size down.

corriejames @yellowstars001 I have to do a bit of wiggling to get my foot in to the narrowest part but one on they fit me great. I obviously can’t guarantee a fit for you, but hope all that helps!

yellowstars001 @corriejames the measurement I was hoping for is the top of the boot. The part that hits the top of your foot when wearing from side to side on top directly below would be the width of the widest part of the sole underneath. Also do your toes hit the front of the boot when wearing? Are you selling because they are to small for you? I'm curious because I wear a 9 in shoes but when I wear a pump I typically fit an 8.5 better. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

corriejames @yellowstars001 the part you are describing is what I measured at 10.5”. The 9.5” measurement is at the widest part of the sole, which is the ball of the foot. My toes don’t hit the very end because of how pointy they are, I don’t think anyone’s would. I’m selling because I don’t have to dress up for work nearly as much as I used to and even though I love them, they just weren’t getting worn.
