clothandhide Hi Courtney, I’m inquiring on your wedding dress that I fell in love with but with the measurements you’ve provided and the size chart for this brand, I’m uncertain of it’s fit. It looks like it may be more adjustable on the top versus the waist and the hip. If you don’t mind me asking her opinion, I am 5 foot four and will more than likely will be wearing a 4 to 6 inch heel. In about 33 inches full in the chest 25 waist and a 35 hip. Your thoughts? :-)

cdanner09 @zoemaekenney Hi! For perspective - my bust is 32”, waist 25”, and hip 33 1/2”. I am 5’6”. I wore the dress with flat sandals and it was the perfect length. The front hem just barely touched the ground. The top is adjustable so you can let down the hem a bit, but with 4-6” inch heels, I’m worried it may be a bit too short.

cdanner09 @zoemaekenney I think the hip fit should be fine. The tie loosens right above the hips on the lower back, so you can loosen if needed. The dress itself is designed to have a tight fit :)

clothandhide Just want to make sure that we’re on the same page. The fullest part of my bossed is about 33 to 34 inches even though I wear a 32D. My waist is about 25 to 26 inches. And my hips with a little bit of a derrière at fullest is about 35 to 36 inches. And since it’s adjustable there should be a good fit ? :-)

clothandhide I could probably get away with a 32C. And the hip is more than likely 35 I just want make sure I have enough room when I sit.

cdanner09 @zoemaekenney I’m concerned it might be a little bit too tight :( Although the top is adjustable and has some give at the waist, the hip portion going down has a built-in zipper that does not allow much wiggle room. What size pants do you typically wear?

cdanner09 @zoemaekenney You and I wear the exact same size in jeans. I own both Levi’s and AE and wear the same sizes. The dress was snug on me, but it was not uncomfortable and I didn’t have any issues when sitting

cdanner09 @zoemaekenney The chest area is much more flexible, as it has adjustable straps. The only consideration is how low the seam-line goes below the armpits. If wearing a backless bra, I would be careful to not stick the cups too high or they may peek out the top. Or you could opt to go bra-less and that would work well with this style of dress.

clothandhide So is just the bottom half see-through? Any lining on the top?

cdanner09 @zoemaekenney the entire dress is lined, except the lace trim at bottom. The lining is silk, and comes down to just above the top of the lace hem.
