giamiajosie1 Hi Cristin i bought a Louis vuitton Coussins bag from you last September. i went to the Louis Vuitton store here in my area Bellevue wa to have the zipper pull replaced it keeps coming off. They asked if the bag was registered and where it was bought and my phone number? I said i bought it second hand. In order to repair bag they had to verify it was authentic. They scanned it and the bag does not have a micro chip that they could find.

giamiajosie1 Did you buy this bag at an Official Louis Vuitton store? I'm concerned because Poshmark authenticated this $2000 bag! ive reached out to poshmark support as well. I'm allowing the LV store here to send the bag off for Official verification I'll hear back from them in a few weeks. i sure hooe this bag is Real!

giamiajosie1 @cmheyns Ok I'm sick about it and embarrassed at store. yes i will give them your name as well, did you register the bag under your phone number? thats how they look it up. if you could provide the phone number as well that the bag is attached to. the store is 30 miles away from me but i have the managers number of the store i can call her with the info. she has the bag to he sent off for repairs if its legit.

cmheyns @giamiajosie1 they took down all of my information when I purchased the bag. I didn’t do any additional registration other than that. The phone number it should be registered under is 714–6 14–7021.

cmheyns @giamiajosie1 please text that number if you need any more help. It sounds to me like the LV team was being snotty about the bag being second hand. It’s really concerning that they don’t know how to authenticate their own product. I’m here to help.

I guess its going to take 6 to 8 weeks to hear back from them. i went in there just to get the zipper pull replaced and because it was not registered under my name its become a total nightmare! giamiajosie1 Bea at the LV store suggested the bag may have been switched that i received. Ugh i tried to explain the process that Poshmark provides with authentication all they know is the bag doesnt seem to have a chip and then she was comparing it to a new one in the store and indicating that it doesnt have a serial date number or something to that effect and the placement of the Louis Vuitton label on the inside. O well I'm wiped out from all this.

cmheyns @giamiajosie1 thank you for the additional detail. I only have control over the bag that I sent to Poshmark, which was my authentic Louis Vuitton bag in the condition indicated in the photos. I presume the bag you received matched the condition in the photos. If Louis Vuitton is accusing Poshmark of committing fraud, I’m sure the Poshmark legal department will get involved. I have a feeling that LV would not be thrilled to hear that their sales associate made such a careless accusation.
