Look, I'm just trying to offload cool Japanese stuff that I no longer fit, no longer wear, or my wife has banned me from appearing in public in. My closet is mostly undercover, ts(s), nanamica, and byborre with some small makers and Uniqlo thrown in. Love being able to pass on well-loved clothes for a good price to people who will live in them.

mbacon915 Dan, enjoy your entertaining write ups on your closet. I'm trying out outfit two teenagers for a family hike on the Inka Trail. Four days up to Machu Pichu. Looking at your two jackets - Pedaled and the Geller. Are they both waterproof? Thanks, Mike

cacpiventhusias @mbacon915 I won't give you an easy answer. As a maximalist, I would take neither and instead get something purpose-made, but I just love jackets! The geller is going to be closer to your standard technical shell, maybe a little lighter weight, while the pedaled is really cut to be worn on the bike and is quite a bit heavier due to the nature of ventile. I encourage you to look up the material and you'd probably want to re-add DWR. That said, both could work, Geller probably better.
