botablu @dawnsott Hi. Can’t consider a $35 offer on those awesome one-of-a-kind Lev’s fairly listed at $89. Most all sellers consider this type of lowball offer rude and do not appreciate it—you can find a few that encourage all offers but they will clearly state that. Please note: this platform takes 20% commission too. If you’re unsure where to start with an offer—you can always bundle an item and ask a seller privately how flexible they are. Hope this helps! ☺️

dawnsott @botablu thank you for kindly advising me that I low balled your item. I have about 45$ to spend on a pair of shorts and thought it would be worth a try! Definitely not intentional if my offer offended you. My budget is however offensive at time lol... what would be an acceptable price if you don’t mind sharing? I’ve bought very few things on Posh so I’m not well versed. Thanks!

botablu @dawnsott Lol! I get it. As for “reasonable offers” it really depends on the seller. Again, some sellers encourage all offer but you’ll find they clearly advertise that. I’d say a good starting place is about 10% to maybe $20 off the listed price—Unless they’re priced “firm” or such a steal that anything less than list price is silly to barter over. If you’re really unsure, placing them in a bundle and asking the seller privately is really ideal.

botablu @dawnsott So, for example, for something priced at $89–which means the seller gets $71 after posh’s 20% commission—just keep in mind that if you offered 20% off list price—$71–that reduces the amount to the seller to $56. It’s a big difference!

yourmodernbabe Hey there gorgeous! I wanted to stop by as say hi! If you get a chance come by and have a look at my closet. A lot of my items have barely been worn or have tags attached. Brands such as Commando, Tory Burch, Lululemon, Nike, Free People, Spanx, Victoria’s Secret, and so much more! So come take a look, if there is something you like, but not the price, make an offer. Love giving discounts! Xoxo, B.
