pooh075 @xo4esh Hi, I do have a question. Is there a certain price that we need to stay under or can you price items what you want to sell them for. For example: i have multiple designer clutches and a couple I paid 400.00 for. Can they be priced as such or should I come down in price? All are in excellent condition. Just let me know. rougelips @pooh075 You are free to set any price. You can even go above those prices. But you just have to use common sense to wether people will be willing to pay that money or not. Keep in mind whether these items are still available from the original brand store. Also, the condition, and other posher's prices too.

rougelips @pooh075 Because if there are multiple similar items like yours on Poshmark, you want to compare the prices, so you do not set too high - otherwise buyers will buy from the sellers who sell it for less.

rougelips @pooh075 I do not know what brand you are talking about, but some brands keep their price pretty high up there even if the item is old. Because now, it's "vintage", and people looooove vintage stuff.

rougelips @pooh075 Also keep in mind, that if you are selling an item for more than $500, Poshmark will automatically offer an authenticity check to the buyer, meaning, if the buyer is to sure whether the brand is legitimate or not, Poshmark will have it inspected.

rougelips @pooh075 With anything you are selling - even a $20 dress, you have to take into an account that Poshmark is for those who negotiate. So, on average, I sell for 36% less than what I list an item for. Plus, Poshmark takes 20% after that, so you are left with less than 50% of the profit from the original listing price.

rougelips @pooh075 And that's pure statistics. So set your price higher, accounting for that 20-30% discount that people will want. And for every "like" you get, send an offer to that buyer, for example 10% off plus 4.99$ shipping. You'll have more chances to sell. Poshmark is fun and a definitely creative way to sell. Hope I didn't bore you with my lecture :)

They are the popular designers and they are all original. I would never sell anything fake! I need to go through the ones I’m not using or don’t want anymore and then post.
