My name is Elise too. I'm 67 yrs. old and back in my day, it was a name rarely heard of. The name came from Beethoven's "Fur Elise" Symphony and that was why my mother named me Elise. He wrote it in 1810 and the music score was not discovered until 40 years after his death and was one of his most famous Symphonies. I'm sure you've probably heard it before. (Google it). Anyway, just a bit of trivia for you about your name
