Eri I am so sorry you were disappointed with the new sandals. I am fully unaware of any flaws.The only metal on the sandals are the small buckles. I make a note of flaws and take a photo to highlight such flaws. In reviewing the photos, I could not see where the footbed covering was lifting. Again I am so sorry. If you return to my closet, I will be happy to offer additional discount. Winter is coming so please check out winter footwear. Thank you again for your purchase.
