I work for a CPA and not only is tax season crushing us, we had a power outage that lasted almost a week at the beginning of March that really put us behind the eight ball. I'm sorry your kids were sick, good parenting is rarely convenient. I will be patient :)

ladyofthelake50 Thank you Jenn. It's very kind of you. Sorry about your loss. My Dad passed in February last year, my Mom followed him in March only 34 days later. I felt sad to lose them both so close together, but glad they are together. I was glad to put 2017 behind me. It's strange how the little things you remember, or feel attracted to. I looked everywhere for a vintage White Shoulders bath powder box because it made me think happy thoughts about my Mom. Lame, huh?

jendlyons @ladyofthelake50 oh no that is not lame at all! I lost my grandfather 5 days before my mom. I know how certain things make me feel better. My mom loves elephants and the song hello darlin so the other day I found a small plate in a thrift store that I just had to have becasue it says hello darling on it. So I do completely understand, and that is never ever lame! I hope you find comfort in knowing they are always with you smiling down on you always! I know I sure do
